A DISCUSSION ON HOMELESSNESS

The City of Tampa is hosting a discussion on homelessness on Tuesday, May 24th from 5:30 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the HCC Ybor Performing Arts Building (1411 East 11th Ave, Tampa).

The public is invited to join local officials and advocates for an in-depth discussion on the current status of homelessness in the city of Tampa, what is being done to address it, and what community members can do to support these efforts.

“Tampa is a place where residents lift each other up, especially those most in need,” said Tampa Mayor Jane Castor. “From offering shelter and wraparound services at Tampa HOPE to providing resources through our homeless liaisons, the City is working proactively to address homelessness. This discussion will gather ideas and feedback from our community, highlighting how we will work together to tackle this critical issue.”

Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP at tampa.gov/RSVP. Space is limited.

The discussion will also be streamed on Facebook live at facebook.com/CityofTampa
