Detectives are working to identify and arrest the suspect who robbed the Mobil station at 10002 N. Florida Ave just after 7:00 AM Friday.

The armed black male, captured on video, can be seen wearing a “Kodak” hooded sweatshirt, fluorescent green gloves, black joggers, black shoes, and a black Covid mask.  He was armed with a black handgun when he dragged an employee behind the counter demanding money. Thankfully, the employee was not injured.

The suspect was seen leaving the store and walking westbound on Linebaugh Ave from the store immediately after the robbery.

As detectives continue to develop leads in this case, they are asking the community to take a good look at the video. Anyone who may have information that could lead investigators to the identity and location of this suspect is asked to contact Tampa Police by calling 813.231.6130, sending a tip via TIP411, or downloading and using the TampaPD app.
