The University of South Florida track and field team had four student-athletes earn All-America honors from the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, the organization announced this week.

Romaine Beckford (Portland, Jamaica) headlined the group, earning his second All-American honors of the year with a second team nod for outdoor high jump. He finished in 13th at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships, clearing 2.15 meters (7-0.5) in Eugene. Earlier this season, he was a second team All-American in Indoor Track and Field, also for high jump.

Sanique Walker (Manchester, Jamaica), Shaniya Benjamin (Tampa, Fla.) and Shaneylix Davila (Kissimmee, Fla.) all earned honorable mention All-America honors in their respective events.

Walker earned her first All-American title after finishing 17th in the 400-hurdles at the NCAA National Championships with a time of 58.42. Davila also earned her first All-America honors in the 100-hurdles, finishing 20th with a mark of 13.31.

Benjamin received her fourth career All-America nod in outdoor competition after receiving three last year. She earned the honorable mention title jumping 5.90 meters (19-4.25) to finish in 20th at the National Championships.
