NO COLLECTION of trash, yard waste, bulk items

0Comments

There will be NO COLLECTION of trash, yard waste, bulk items, or recycling on Wednesday, September 28 or Thursday, September 29 due to the storm.

At this time, services are expected to resume on Friday, September 30 but that may change due to the storm’s duration or impact on Plant City. Those who do not receive collection on Thursday will get a double pick-up day on Monday.

The Solid Waste Department would like to remind residents NOT to put out yard waste this week. Our normal weekly collection date is each Wednesday and our crews will be unable to collect on that day due to Hurricane Ian.

Our crews have made sweeps of our community to collect as much of the yard waste as possible that had already been placed at the curb. If your yard waste has not been collected, please move it inside your garage so that it does not become a projectile with the high winds.
