Planning Board Special Meeting – Public Hearing Continued (Pb-2020-17)

Description:

Notice is hereby given that the Plant City Planning Board held a special meeting on January 31, 2023, to conduct a public hearing regarding a request for a Major Modification to the Walden Lake Planned Development District (PB-2020-17).

Due to time constraints, the hearing has been continued and will take place on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. at the HCC Trinkle Center, located at 1206 North Park Road, Plant City, Florida, to which all interested persons are invited.   On this date, the Planning Board will resume the public hearing where it left off on January 31st with Intervenor’s and public testimony, rebuttal, board questions, deliberations and any other business which may come before the Planning Board.

SPEAKING LIMITATIONS:  At the public hearing, all public speakers shall be limited to three (3) minutes. In the event speaker(s) request additional time the determination of the amount of time to be allowed shall be at the discretion of the Chair.

Interested persons wishing to utilize an electronic presentation (i.e. PowerPoint) at these proceedings must provide the City Clerk a computer file of such at least two business days prior to the aforementioned public hearing date.

Anyone wishing to obtain or inspect a copy of the proposal may contact the Planning & Zoning Division by calling 813-659-4258, or planning@plantcitygov.com, or regular mail to Planning & Zoning City of Plant City, 302 West Reynolds Street, Plant City, FL 33563. Online access to the final submittal will be available by January 20, 2023 at our website https://www.plantcitygov.com/planning/page/walden-lake-rezoning.

If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Planning Board and the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at such meeting, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which records included the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.

In accordance with the American with Disabilities Act, any person with a disability requiring reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this meeting should call the City Clerk at (813) 659-4200 at least 48 hours prior to the meeting.
