Dover home prices rise in 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in 2019 in Dover rose by $71,000 while total sales decreased by 21%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2019, there were 83 homes sold, with a median sale price of $221,000 - a 47.3% increase over the $150,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 105 homes sold in Dover in 2018.

The median sales tax in Dover for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,894, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for 2019.
