Hillsborough County Public Schools recently issued the following announcement.
The U.S. Department of Education awarded states and school districts relief funds to address the impact the COVID-19 pandemic has had, and continues to have, on elementary and secondary schools across the country.
This money is called Elementary and Secondary Emergency Relief, or ESSER funds.
Our district feels it is important to get feedback from stakeholders about the best use for these funds. There are unique requirements placed on the usage of these funds. Please take our COVID Relief Funding Public Input Survey to help us better understand where you believe these funds would be best utilized. The survey should only take 5 to 8 minutes to complete.
In order to provide transparency and promote accountability, our district has created an ESSER Dashboard for public consumption. The report is refreshed every morning. Data shown includes district as well as school data.
