Q2: Dover experienced a 29.3% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2022 in Dover rose by $85,000 while total sales decreased by 34.8 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June, there were 15 homes sold, with a median sale price of $375,000 - a 29.3 percent increase over the $290,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 23 homes sold in Dover in the second quarter of 2021.

The median sales tax in Dover for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,894, approximately 0.5 percent of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2022.
