Rising home prices in Bloomingdale in the first half of 2022

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Bloomingdale rose by $67,500 while total sales decreased by 10.6 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were 177 homes sold, with a median sale price of $399,000 - a 20.4 percent increase over the $331,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 198 homes sold in Bloomingdale in the first half of 2021.

The median sales tax in Bloomingdale for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,710, approximately 0.7 percent of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
