Home prices increased in Dover during the first half of 2022

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Dover rose by $117,550 while total sales decreased by 9.5 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were 38 homes sold, with a median sale price of $382,500 - a 44.4 percent increase over the $264,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 42 homes sold in Dover in the first half of 2021.

The median sales tax in Dover for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,894, approximately 0.5 percent of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
