Second-half surge lifts Bulls past Spartans in season-opening exhibition

Newcomers Keyshawn Bryant and Selton Miguel combined for 25 points in USF’s 66-61 win over Tampa.

    • Bryant stuffed the stat sheet with nine points, six rebounds, three assists, two steals and a pair of blocks.
    • Bryant enters his final season with 973 collegiate points scored over his four-year career at South Carolina.
    • Harris has scored 1,133 points in his collegiate career.
    • Tchewa turned in three double-doubles during the 2021-22 season and finished the year averaging 11.6 points and 7.0 rebounds over the final nine games of last season.
    • True freshman Ryan Conwell logged 16 minutes of play off the bench for USF on Tuesday night.
    • The Bulls forced 14 UT turnovers and turned those into 21 points, and outscored the Spartans in the paint, 48-28, and in fast break points, 24-6.
