The Fire enter the tournament with a 13-3-2 record and earned an at-large bid for its sixth-consecutive appearance in the tournament. SEU is playing host to the first round of the tournament for the fifth time in program history.

During SEU's first tournament appearance, it hosted Georgia Gwinnett in the first round of the 2017 national tournament and will do so again this year at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.

The Grizzlies are making their eighth appearance in the tournament, earning an automatic qualifying spot as the runner-up of the Continental Athletic Conference Tournament.
