December 4 @ 1:00 pm - 1:30 pm
Join Joanna Robotham, Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art, for a special series of Sunday gallery talks highlighting the artists featured in Time for Change: Art and Social Unrest in the Jorge M. Pérez Collection. The first talk, Women/Mujeres, looks at works by Firelei Báez, Teresa Burga, Ana María Devis, Glenda León, Marisol, Gala Porres-Kim and Kara Walker, and others.
Two additional Sunday Sessions focused on Time for Change will be scheduled in early 2023. Global Tapestries looks at the significance of fabric and textiles in the exhibition and Past is Present explores history through the lens of contemporary art.
Sunday Sessions are offered free with regular admission.
