Eleven Ranked in The Open Mat NAIA Wrestling Rankings | Southeastern University
Southeastern moved up The Open Mat NAIA Men's Wrestling Dual Rankings and held its No. 3 spot in the tournament rankings, released Thursday.
With a 4-0 record at the Fire Duals last Saturday, Southeastern moved up to fifth in the dual rankings. The Fire continue to be ranked third in the tournament rankings with 109.5 points. Grand View is at the top of both rankings with 216.5 points in the tournament rankings and Life is second at 157.5.
Individually, Southeastern has 11 wrestlers ranked in their respective weight class.
Junior Parker Dobrocky is the highest ranked individual at second in the 141-pound rankings behind three-time champion Baterdene Boldmaa of Doane.
Four wrestlers are ranked third with Isaac Crowell at 125, Andreus Bond at 149, Stephen Kelle at 174 and Gage Braun at 285.
Esau Bazilme joins Crowell in the 125-pound rankings at 13th and Douglas Peppers is eighth at 174. The Fire also have two wrestlers ranked at 157 with Sal Silva fifth and Trace Braun 12th.
Trillyon Fils-Aime is 17th at 197 and Wyatt Kirkham is 18th at 165.
The Fire return to the mats on January 6th at the NWCA National Team Duals in Louisville.
