Summary
This is a highly specialized leadership position reporting to the Division Director of Human Resources' Employee Experience Department.
The Employee & Labor Relations Manager oversees an HR team of four assigned to partner with Departments to assist in proactively resolving employment issues; promoting the development and success of employees; fostering relationships with union entities to achieve collective goals; establishing and implementing policies to ensure consistency and fairness in the delivery of disciplinary actions.
Additionally, the position oversees the daily operations of processing Pre-Disciplinary and Grievance Hearings.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university (Masters preferred) with a major in Public Administration, Human Resources or a closely related field; and
Five years of employee and labor relations (union) experience, some of which must have been as a supervisor.
