The TECO Energy Center for Leadership, part of The University of Tampa Sykes College of Business, will host Bill Treasurer of Giant Leap Consulting for its 2023 Leadership Summit on Wednesday, Feb. 15.

The event will be held in the Crescent Club on the ninth floor of the Vaughn Center on campus.

The summit, featuring Treasurer as the keynote speaker, is titled “Secrets for Leading Complicated People.”

Treasurer is the chief encouragement officer at Giant Leap Consulting, a company that trains people and organizations to be more courageous to drive superior performance.

Treasurer’s newest book, Leadership Two Words at a Time: Simple Truths for Leading Complicated People, serves as a playbook for new leaders, covering the essentials that will improve performance, effectiveness and enjoyment.

The summit will also include a panel discussion with Stanley Gray, CEO and president of the Urban League of Hillsborough County; Drew Marshall, CEO and president of the CI Group; and Karen Zaderej, chairman, CEO and president of Axogen Inc.

Doors will open at 7:15 a.m. for breakfast, and the event will start at 8 a.m. with a presentation by Treasurer. It will continue with a leadership panel discussion at 9 a.m. From 10:45 a.m. until noon, there will be a roundtable where hot topic discussions will take place, followed by lunch.

General admission is $99, and sponsorship of a table of six is $500. The event is free to registered UT students and UT faculty and staff. As seating is limited, reservations are required at ut.edu/cfl/leadershipsummit/.
