School will soon let out for the summer, and many of those kids will enroll in Hillsborough County Parks & Recreation summer camps and programs. That means the County is now hiring recreation leaders for the season.
The jobs are 40 hours a week and last for 10 weeks.Parks & Recreation offers traditional, teen, eco-adventure, skate, and adaptive summer camps. Summer camp leaders will work with kids 5 to 16 years old in a variety of educational and outdoor recreational activities.
The pay rate is $15.45 per hour.
Applicants must have a first aid and CPR certification before starting. They also need a drivers license and must have graduated high school or have a GED certificate.
