Later that same day, Buchanan addressed the passing of Eddie Shannon, a World War II veteran and local football coach. He stated: “Sandy and I are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Eddie Shannon, a beloved World War II veteran, football coach and pillar of our community.
For years, he poured his time and heart into mentoring young athletes and shaping future leaders.
We join our community in”
