Rep. Vern Buchanan, who represents Florida’s 16th district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates on September 11, 2025, regarding his legislative initiatives and local advocacy efforts.

Born in Detroit in 1951 and currently residing in Sarasota, he holds degrees from Cleary University and the University of Detroit Mercy.
