Rep. Vern Buchanan, who represents Florida’s 16th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of statements on July 31, 2025, addressing health care personalization, support for space innovation, and efforts to combat childhood obesity.
In a tweet published at 13:13 UTC, Buchanan emphasized the need for individualized health care approaches. He wrote, “When it comes to our health, one-size-fits-all doesn’t work. Later that day at 14:29 UTC, Buchanan shared his involvement in the SpaceX Crew-11 launch at NASA Kennedy Space Center alongside Rep. Byron Donalds. He stated his backing for legislative efforts aimed at strengthening Florida’s role in the nation’s space program: “Excited to be at @NASAKennedy with @RepDonaldsPress for the @SpaceX Crew-11 launch! Proud to support the CAPE Canaveral Act to bring @NASA HQ home to Florida’s Space Coast, the heart of American space innovation. Tune in to watch live: https://t.co/CLXKVhxapu”
