Premium gas was sold at the lowest price of $4.06 per gallon at one gas station in Hillsborough County during the week ending Mar. 28, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.

Countywide, premium gas averaged $4.75 per gallon.

Of the 536 reported gas stations in cities within Hillsborough County, 263 offered premium gas.

The average reported price for a gallon of premium gas in Florida was $4.70, up from the previous week.

U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
